Saturday Night

swhitby8

Scott Whitby, 2022

It's Saturday night

I'm drinking bourbon (but)

Tomorrow is the day

I get a sermon

Does the preacher know

What I've been through?

Does she have a message

I can listen to? (or)

Was her week like mine?

Does anybody know?

Is she tired like me (and)

Won't let it show?

My trouble is big

Can she just see? (to)

Ignore the rest (and just)

Preach to me!
