Grandma asked how's that

New baby y'all just got

Mama's tired and daddy

Said 'Mom...she's alot'

Kindergarten 'fore you know

And she's away all day

Pick her up and teacher says

'She's alot is all I'll say'

Teenager years come too soon

All you said seems forgot

Hard to know just what to do

It'll be ok but wow...she's alot

They say she'll push you away

To find the space you taught

When she does it hurts so bad

It really hurts alot

Then she'll come back around

And see the love she fought

God will show her what you did

So she'll love you now alot
