Sweet Feed Whisky

swhitby8

Scott Whitby, 2021

The old ones say

Why you do it that way?

Take eight rows with a hoe

Just go a little more slow

Don't spend all your money

She'll still be your honey

She'll hug you the same

And take your last name

And why not work a full day?

He's glad to make your pay

Just show up on time

Don't be in a crime

Why such a hurry?

Just makes your folks worry

Slow down and take care

It's only fair

You get there no fear

Save the rest of your years

Be calm and cool

Don't act like a fool

And when it's time to feel frisky

Don't buy expensive whisky

Remember this creed

Drink spirits made from sweet feed
